Project “NATURE”

Players take on fun challenges and real-life scenarios to learn about ecosystems, human impact, and sustainability. The game mixes learning with entertainment to inspire awareness and promote eco-friendly choices.

Project “HERA”

City-builder game HERA boosts problem-solving skills for engineering and economics students, getting them ready for real-world challenges. Using active learning and digital games, HERA places students in complex, real-life scenarios similar to industry settings. It encourages teamwork, critical thinking, self-learning, and communication, creating interactive and engaging classrooms while preparing students for modern-day demands.

Project “High5”

The High5 project introduces Integrated Design, a method blending Design Thinking, Problem-Based Learning, sustainability, circular economy, innovation, and entrepreneurship. It helps people identify problems, create solutions, and tackle challenges, preparing them for the changing European job market.

Storytelling and Gamification in Sustainable Development Education

The project focused on studying sustainable development education in schools in Germany and Estonia. It compared different sustainability goals and assessed young people’s knowledge and motivation to act sustainably. The results helped improve the SmartEducation app to meet the educational needs of each country. Using storytelling and gamification, the project aimed to make sustainability education more engaging, interactive, and meaningful for students.

Climate Awareness from School to Society

The project “Climate Awareness from School to Society: Empowering Children, Youth, and Teachers to Combat Climate Change” focused on developing educational materials for 2nd and 3rd school levels. These resources are available in Estonian.

Project ICT-INOV
